PresentSync is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

Information we collect

PresentSync does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, screen content, or usage data to any server or third party. All communication between devices happens locally within the room and never leaves your local network environment.

Permissions we request

The app requests the following permissions on your device:

• Local Network access — required to discover and connect to nearby iPads using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework.
• Screen Recording — required to capture and mirror the presenter's screen to connected client iPads.
• Focus Status — used to check whether Do Not Disturb is enabled before a presentation begins, so we can remind you to enable it. We do not store or transmit your Focus status.

These permissions are used solely to provide the core functionality of the app. Screen content is never stored on any device or transmitted outside the local peer-to-peer connection between iPads in the same room.

Subscriptions and payments

PresentSync offers in-app subscriptions processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not handle, process, or store any payment information. All billing, subscription management, and payment data is managed by Apple. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy for information on how this data is handled.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect or store any of the following:

• Screen content or presentation materials
• Device identifiers or usage analytics
• Location data
• Contact information
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to third parties
• Any personal information about the presenter or clients

Children's privacy

PresentSync is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
